Artist's workshop – art and drama

Everyone has his/her own language – a multi-disciplinary improvisation workshop for individual and creative expression.

Carmela's artists' workshops are a result of development and long-time experience with youth, students, women groups and adults.

The work method is based on the principles of dramatic improvisation and was developed by Carmela into a complex improvisation through movement, voice, use of texts and unconventional examination and studying of works of art.

The workshops are conducted in various forms, either a few hours, or a course of about 10 sessions, depending on the needs of the ordering body.

The activity in the workshop is unique, individual or group work, using the language of arts, psychodrama, movement, voice, text writing, drawing and working with different materials.

The special aspect of the workshop lies in using works from the history of art while practicing.

The aim of the activity: the participant experiences renewal and fresh experiences with the world around, spontaneous reactions from the guts or the head, memory practice, enrichment of one's inner world, creativity, and above all – pleasure and gratification.
